Learning to balance your interpersonal health by developing reciprocal relationships and steering clear of toxic ones
First lets ask ourselves how effective are we with managing our relational energy by asking ourselves a few central questions regarding this very important life area:
Do I maintain a balance between my work (school) time and my time with friends and family? True or False ?
Do I listen to others, actively participating in building healthy relationships while maintaining lasting communication through visits, phone, emails, greeting cards, social media, etc. True or False ?
Do I maintain clear boundaries with loved ones and avoid communicating on behalf of relatives or friends who find it difficult to talk, themselves? True or False ?
Do I recognize my personal needs, desires and am I capable of sustaining intimacy, both physical and emotional? True or False ?
Lecture Summary:
1) How to create in – to – me – see in relationships avoiding codependent relationships/relationships that honor you not unhealthy co-dependent ones.How to avoid others toxic Kool-Aid communication ( aka Negative Noise)
2) Shifting negative noise: advice that won’t change my behavior, is premature, or distracts us from our goals)
3) We are wired to notice negativity to avoid threats/danger/death. Our brains negative noise registers 5 times louder than positive signals Just because information is loud doesn't make it valuable!

5) How to create healthy boundaries and avoid others ”drama” or “rabbit holes”
6) How to avoid relationship “triangles” and learning to communicate with one's inner voice
7) Unhappiness is due to “Sleepwalking” (unconsciously unaware)
8) EGO: unaware mind (ego not connected to their true being) Therefore resistance/control/attack strategies are used
